Structured Optics & Optofluidics Group conduct research in the area of fundamental and applied aspects of photonics, In particular it carries out research related to modelling, fabrication and characterization of various types of elements and devices as photonic crystal and nanostrcutrured fibers, free-form optics and mid infrared optics, optofluidic and sensor systems.
