Group Quantum Information and Inference Laboratory

Within the QI2 Lab we work on quantum metrology and sensing. We develop the theory of quantum estimation protocols and their optical implementations, particularly for quantum sensors based on atomic-spin ensembles. We also seek novel practical solutions in quantum cryptography and communication, while exploring the applicability of their state-of-art photonic implementations. We also work on software for quantum experiments, especially for continuous-time measurements.
