In our research we concentrate on numerical modelling, fabrication and characterization of novel optical materials. We work in the fields of metamaterials, plasmonics, hot electrons and ultrafast optics.There are three main directions, which we exploit:

• development of linear and nonlinear materials with unique optical properties
• construction of active light modulators
• metamaterial-fiber integration"
