Remote Sensing Laboratory

The Remote Sensing Laboratory (RS-Lab) is performing quasi-continuous measurements of optical and microphysical properties of atmospheric aerosol and clouds. It is equipped with passive and active instruments e.g. stationary and mobile lidars, sun-photometer. The RS-Lab is a part of the Aerosol, Cloud and Trace Gases Research Infrastructure – ACTRIS, (ESFRI Roadmap). Measurements carried out at RS-Lab are used for scientific research conducted within the national (PolandAOD-NET) and international (EARLINET, PollyNET, AERONET) networks.
